It’s been four months since I started teaching at one of the reputed schools in Kathmandu. I never thought that one day I would become a teacher—not even in my wildest dreams. However, here I am.
There were several circumstances that led me to this profession, which I’m not going to discuss today. Regardless of how it happened, I’m currently enjoying the experience and learning a lot from it.
The initial days in this profession were somewhat challenging, as it took me time to get accustomed to the school environment and the students. However, with the passage of time, I have become familiar with all aspects of the institution where I work.
I don’t know whether it’s part of my nature or personality, but I tend to adapt to new environments relatively faster than most people. As I think about it, it’s a good trait to have under one’s belt.
No matter the profession, every job has its own demands and challenges—and mine is no different. Nevertheless, I have an inner belief that I can overcome any situation life throws at me. Maybe life itself has been my greatest teacher.
If you have read my last blog, you already know why I wanted to contribute to the administrative sector of this country. However, I’ve postponed that plan for now, as teaching has become my current priority. I have no idea what the future holds, but whatever field I contribute to in the coming days, I will always give my 100%—even on the days when I feel low or demotivated.
Ups and downs are part of life, but if you have that inner belief within you, nothing can stop you from growing and moving forward.
